Biology of Mosquito

Culex sp. & Aedes sp. are commonly found in Malaysia. Aedes mosquito can complete its life cycle within 7 to 8 days.
Female Aedes can laid up to 200 eggs per batch.
Aedes mosquitoes active during 6.00am – 8.00am or evening 6.00pm to 8.00pm whereas Culex mosquito active during night.
Aedes mosquitoes are vector for Dengue disease, which can be fatal if not been early detected.
